District Administrator

Mike Kinney

Mike joined CLFLWD in 2014. As Administrator, Mike implements policies and programs on behalf of the CLFLWD Board of Managers. Mike brings experience in agronomy, economics, education, Lean Six Sigma, and research to manage both financial and water resources as efficiently as possible. He supervises all staff and operations, including the annual budget and work plan. Mike holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of St. Thomas and a M.S. in Water Resources Management from UW-Madison.

Adam joined CLFLWD in 2024. He holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Superior and a M.S. in Post-secondary Education from Saint Cloud State University. Adam’s primary duty is overseeing and implementing the District’s Education and Outreach program.

Land Management Specialist

Aidan Read

Aidan started with CLFLWD as a seasonal technician in 2018 and joined the permanent staff as a land management specialist in 2021. Aidan’s work includes promoting conservation farming practices, providing resources and technical assistance to landowners for conservation planning, and administering the District’s Citizen Advisory Committee, and Farmer-led Council. Aidan holds a B.A. from Hamline University.

Blayne Eineichner

Blayne joined CLFLWD in 2019. He holds a B.S. in Biology from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an M.S. in Applied Ecology from the University of Maryland -Frostburg State. Blayne is responsible for the development and implementation of the CLFLWD’s capital improvement projects, as well as coordination of the Water Quality Monitoring and Operations and Maintenance Programs.

Brad Jernberg

Brad joined CLFLWD in 2025. As Business & Operations Manager, Brad provides planning, coordination and implementation of administrative and operational functions for the district. He brings experience in Logistics, Personnel and Finance Management to provide strategic and critical input to the Administrator in determining the district’s annual and long-range budgets, programs, and priorities. Brad holds a B.S. in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.

Emily joined CLFLWD in 2014. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Iowa State University and a project management fundamentals certificate from the University of Utah. Emily performs grant writing, progress evaluation, planning and budgeting for the District.

Jackie Bussjaeger

Jackie joined CLFLWD in 2024.  She assists with water quality monitoring, construction permit inspections, and site assessments. Jackie holds a B.A. from Hamline University, and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.

Matthew Hendrickson

Matthew joined CFLWD in 2024. Currently a student at the University of Minnesota, he is pursuing a B.A. in Environmental Science. Matthew assists with construction permit inspections, the aquatic invasive species program, and water quality monitoring.

Mike Sandager

Mike joined the CLFLWD in 2022. He holds a B.A. in History and Environmental Studies from Saint John’s University and a M.S. in Sustainable Water Environments from the University of Glasgow. He is a certified conservation planner through the NRCS and completed the Watershed Specialist Training program at the University of Minnesota. Mike’s primary duties involve working with the permitting program and the aquatic invasive species program.

Tori joined CLFLWD in 2024. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Mathematics from Pacific Lutheran University. Tori supports the District with management of accounts receivable and payable, board meeting coordination, lake monitoring, and the watercraft inspection program.

Victoria D’Amico

Victoria joined CLFLWD in 2023. She holds a B.S. in Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering with a focus in Environmental and Ecological Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Victoria supports the permitting program with inspections and plan reviews. She is also involved in lake monitoring and coordinates the Citizen Assisted Tributary (CAT) program.
