PUBLIC NOTICE: Curly-leaf Pondweed Herbicide Treatment on Forest Lake

Forest Lake, MN - Notice is hereby given that the Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District, in conjunction with the Forest Lake Lake Association and City of Forest Lake, will be conducting an aquatic invasive species herbicide treatment of curly-leaf pondweed in Forest Lake. An herbicide, Diquat, will be used and will be applied by a licensed applicator company, Lake Management Inc. Treatment areas may be up to 123.74 acres of curly-leaf pondweed will occur within the month of May. A map of the treatment areas may be found at www.clflwd.org.
