2026 State of the Watershed
The Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District invites you to join us for our annual State of the Watershed event on September 29th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Lake American Legion.
This evening offers community members, partners, and stakeholders an opportunity to learn about the District’s ongoing efforts to protect and improve local water resources. We will share highlights from the past year, provide updates on current and upcoming projects, and discuss the partnerships and investments that continue to strengthen the health of our watershed.
The evening will begin with a social reception, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with District staff, Board Managers, community partners, and fellow residents. Following the reception, District staff and board members will present an overview of recent accomplishments, current initiatives, and future priorities. Guests are then invited to enjoy a complimentary buffet dinner and reception. During the evening, we will also recognize the recipients of the 2026 Watershed Champion Awards for their outstanding commitment to protecting and enhancing our local water resources. A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
