DESCRIPTION:Join the Comfort Lake – Forest Lake Watershed District (CLFLWD) Board of Managers\, local leaders\, and community members for an evening pontoon tour highlighting natural shoreline restoration projects on Comfort Lake. \nDuring the tour\, participants will visit several restored shorelines and learn how these projects improve water quality\, enhance wildlife habitat\, and protect the long-term health of Comfort Lake. The tour will be led by CLFLWD Land Management Specialist Aidan Read\, who will discuss the design and benefits of natural shorelines\, as well as the technical assistance and financial incentives available through the District. \nThe group will meet at a local residence at 5:30 p.m. (exact location will be provided prior to the event).
