Forest Lake Enhanced Street Sweeping
This project utilized research and modeling conducted through the University of Minnesota to develop an enhanced street sweeping plan for the City of Forest Lake that optimizes phosphorus removal. This enhanced street sweeping plan has been adopted and implemented by the City of Forest Lake as part of their regular street maintenance program. See the project fact sheet for more details.
This project, among other recommended projects, was identified as a result of the Forest Lake North Direct Stormwater Retrofit Analysis.
The CLFLWD received a $36,000 Clean Water Fund (CWF) accelerated implementation grant from the Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR). View the final CWF grant report here.
