Storm Drain Stenciling Initiative

Did you know that anything and everything that enters a storm drain winds up in your local water bodies? There are no filters or treatment between the storm drain and your favorite lake, however there are ways that you can help! Never dump used oil, soapy water, or pet waste in the street!

Local Master Watershed Steward, Jack Mackenzie, will be working with several community volunteer organizations to raise awareness and stencil “No Dumping, Drains To Forest Lake” on as many storm drains in the City of Forest Lake as possible on Saturday, September 23rd. If you would like to get involved please contact Jack directly at 651-324-8873 or jmackenzie@msn.com!
